Regardless of whether you are new to the world of Open Source Intelligence Investigations, or if you have some experience, this course will walk you through how investigators use open source tools and techniques to gain useful insight into someone’s activities. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will hold the skill and abilities of a “digital detective,” with the knowledge to seek, find, and use data from sources within the State of Indiana and around the world. Participants will learn how to collect and analyze data, gain access to and harvest content from websites and other sources, and use this information in real time to create intelligence products for their agency.

This class is designed for Probation, Community Corrections, Court Services, Parole, and sworn Law Enforcement.
